Why the foundation exists
Faith turned into help for families.
We established the Lindsey Ann Varney Foundation to help families and to raise awareness for DIPG (Diffused Intrinsic Pontine Glioma). This was something near and dear to Lindsey’s heart.
Life does not stop.
As a family, we quickly realized life does not stop just because your 14-year-old daughter is diagnosed with this deadly disease.
A declaration of faith
What DIPG came to mean to us.
At the beginning of this journey, we decided DIPG stood for D-Determined I-I’m P-Praising G-God.

Faith for every step.
Through every step we drew tremendous strength from our faith (Philippians 4:13). It is that same faith that guides us each and every day. We continue to honor our daughter’s legacy, through the endeavors of this foundation.
