The Lindsey Ann Varney Memorial Scholarship carries Lindsey’s legacy into the next chapter for students from Princeton Senior High School.
Lindsey touched the lives of many classmates through her academic commitment, kindness, and character. The scholarship was created to recognize those same qualities in graduating seniors and help a local student continue their education.
A tradition rooted in character
The first $1,000 Lindsey Ann Varney Scholarship was presented to Lindsey’s close friend Reagan Cochran. In 2020, the foundation recognized Taylor Lockhart before she began her studies at West Virginia University, and the program continued inviting applications from Princeton Senior High School seniors in 2022.
